Our History
For the past 10 years, Kimberly Emminger, mother of a special needs child, understands how special needs services offered by businesses can help families. Since age 1, her daughter utilized intervention programs, special education, therapy, and specialized products treat her ongoing issues of developmental delay. In 2007 her daughter was diagnosed on the autistic spectrum. Since she believes real life experiences are the best way to gain insight, she felt it was necessary to understand "behind the scenes" of special education .Therefore, she accepted a position working with disabled children with her local school district. Although her experience was brief, she quickly learned not only to count her own blessings, astonished how many families did not have the adequate resources they desperately needed.
Kimberly firmly believes the key to successful treatment for any person with disabilities is knowing where to turn. Having a strong social network of friends, family, parents with special needs children, therapists, teachers and doctors is key to your families success. The knowledge is the first step and is an overwhelming process. Often times people don't even know where to begin. However, she believes that should never stop anyone from having the resources you and your loved one deserves.
This social network is dedicated to all of the doctors, therapists, teachers, friends, family, organizations and businesses who have helped Kimberly's family throughout the years.
